SPECIFICATION FOR THE APPLICATION OF

Paintings of (1)_____________________________________________________ in order to upgrade the treated material to reaction to fire Class 1 (CNVVF/UNI 9796)

The cycle involves the (2)_______________________________________ application of FIREBLOCK® 1001 paint.

The cycle will be applied as follows:
A) Careful preparation of the wooden surface and humidity control (approx. 12%). The work surfaces must be free of dust, grease, oil, silicon and other substances that may compromise the perfect adherence of the paint. Existing paint coats must be removed by sandblasting.

B) Application by roller of 2 coats of FIREBLOCK® 1001 in the amount of 250 g/m2 per coat or by airless with a coat in the amount of 500 g/m2 (dispositive airless without filter with nozzle from 31). Drying time between the 2 coats: 12 hours at +20°C. The total quantity of paint applied, therefore, amounts to 500 g/m2.

Application of the FIREBLOCK® 1001 costs €_______________ per m2 including materials. Labour and the preparation of the support are not included.
The FIREBLOCK® 1001 is accomanied by Ministerial Approval issued by the Central Technical Service of the Home Office in Rome. The applicator must issue a declaration that the above protective materials has been correctly applied.


1) Indicate the type of wood support to treat (wall, matchboard, false ceiling) and the quality of the wood.

2) Indicate the application system used (spray, brush, roller, etc.)
