Starkem®, firm situated in Vittorio Veneto (TV), is a specialised producer of water based intumescent paints and fire retardant varnishes ( line) certified by leading Italian and European institutes. These products slow down the transmission of the heat and of the flames on the structure attacked from the fire and in the surrounding setting. All the carrying structures can be requalified with intumescent paints in R 60/90 on steel, R 60/90/120 on wood, R 60/90/120/180 on concrete.

The paints of the line are not inflammable either in liquid phase; they are applied easily and they have over-varnishing rapid times between the first and the second hand guaranteeing an excellent appearance result. The products have brilliantly passed the endurance tests made at the CATAS Institute.

Starkem® is always engaged in the research of new products, easy to use with a low environmental effect.
Starkem® cooperates with important civil engineering offices for the estimate of the product quantities necessary to obtain the release of the CERT. REI model and of the relative REL REI relation according to the present rules.

Starkem® has a management of quality’s system, certified UNI EN ISO 9001/2000.
